style=\"font-family:宋体\">　　睡眠呼吸暂停综合征的发生原因有中枢性和阻塞性两种。前者是指因颅脑和全身疾病所引起，较少见。而阻塞性睡眠呼吸暂停综合征（英文简称</span>OSAS）是由于上呼吸道狭窄或上呼吸道内阻力增加，呼吸时咽腔负压增大，咽腔缩小，空气经过狭窄的咽腔时相对流速加快，咽腔负压进一步增加，咽腔更小，直至关闭，而产生呼吸的暂停。引起老年人上呼吸道狭窄的主要原因是口咽或鼻咽良性或恶性肿瘤、鼻炎、鼻中隔偏曲、鼻息肉、鼻腔异物、鼻部新生物、扁桃体肥大、悬雍垂肥大过长、软腭松弛、舌根肥厚或后坠、肥胖短颈等。OSAS的临床表现是睡眠时打鼾呈持续性，鼾声响亮，不因睡眠姿势改变而减弱，时时憋气，并常因憋气而憋醒，即睡眠呼吸暂停现象，一旦呼吸暂停时间达到1―3分钟，病人还不能憋醒，以迅速恢复呼吸，则可能窒息死亡。由于患者长期处于缺氧状态，可能对大脑功能损害而引起的白天嗜睡、困倦乏力、记忆力下降，晨间头痛等；缺氧还可对心、肺、脑血管造成损害而引起的肺动脉高压、夜间心律失常、心绞痛、高血压、心力衰竭等。</span></p><p 宋体;\">综上所述，无论鼻炎、鼻窦炎、还是鼾症患者，在积极治疗原发病的同时需进行一定的嗓音保护。在鼻炎、鼻窦炎发作时，须应用鼻喷剂或鼻腔清洗通畅引流鼻腔分泌物，避免鼻后滴漏进入咽喉的情况。同时积极治疗慢性咳嗽，适当应用镇咳药物（在医师指导下），应用化痰药稀化粘液易于咳出。在过敏性鼻炎发作季节，还应进行一定防护，脱离过敏原，并服用抗过敏药物，如合并过敏性咳嗽或咳嗽变异性哮喘须应用气道吸入剂。鼾症患者如有睡眠张口呼吸导致咽喉干燥的情况，可适当应用加湿器湿化环境，多饮水。</span><span
